Welcome to Mrs. T's Crochet Classroom

Dedicated to Grandma Wilma Duncan who is with me every stitch of the way!
Thanks for visiting!  I have created this site to share what I have learned over the years starting with lessons with my Grandma Wilma as a kid to lessons from Mrs. D to help me remember all that I had forgotten through the years!

I have been able to expand my skills thanks to some great online resources that I have listed on the "Resources" page - especially the folks at the Crochet Crowd and Fiber Flux!  I am also working on developing some of my own patterns to share with anyone who also want to play with yarn!

My Gallery - More images coming soon along with links to the patterns!

My motivation for relearning how to crochet - Found this almost finished scarf in grandma's crochet basket I inherited and finished it for her.
Pink camo blanket I made for my great-niece, Khloe
Bottom of a new vest I am working on - uses the gilded fans stitch from Lion Brand
One of my first scarves with the butterflies added to the ends
My first attempt at a "cocoon" for a friend's grandson - no real pattern, just freestyle
Blanket I made for my great nephew in 2016
Lace-It-Up Boot Cuff
Boot cuffs with a shell edging and fringe with charms or beads
Another version of my Lace-It-Up boot cuff
A spiffed up version of my Lace-It-Up boot cuffs
A pair of my "Lace-It-Up" boot cuffs made with basic crochet hearts on the laces.
Another scarf made using the "Mulberry Scarf" pattern on Fiber Flux http://fiberflux.blogspot.com/
A red sparkle scarf made using the Mindless Scarf pattern on Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mindless-scarf
Scarf made using the Island Lace pattern on Fiber Flux at http://fiberflux.blogspot.com/
My first cardigan made using a pattern of rows of dc along with rows of dc/ch stitches to create some openings
My "redneck" yarn bowl - keep the yarn safe from my kitties and makes it easy to store my works-in-progress.
My "redneck" frogger - attached a dowel rod to the drill to rip out a few stitches (bunches at a time!)
